The services are offered on a fee-for-service basis, with payment required at the time of service. Fees are comparable to other therapists with similar experience and training. A limited number of slots are reserved for those who cannot comfortably pay the full fee.
Insurance.
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. While I only submit to limited health insurance at this time, I can provide an invoice for clients who wish to file for reimbursement with their own insurance companies. The invoice can be submitted to your insurance provider for an out-of-network reimbursement. I should be accepting most major insurance by fall 2020.
Please contact your insurance provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
What is the reimbursement for master-level therapist?
Payment.
I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment for in-office visits, and all major credit cards for Telehealth services through the Simple Practice software.
